Connecticut Association of Housing Code Enforcement Officials, Inc.

 

I am honored to serve as President of the Connecticut Association of Housing Code Enforcement Officials, Inc. and deeply grateful for the trust and support of our membership. Our work as code officials plays a vital role in protecting the health, safety, and quality of life of every resident in our state. Each day, you bring professionalism, integrity, and dedication to communities that rely on us to ensure safe housing, responsible development, and compliance with the standards that keep Connecticut strong.

As we look ahead, CAHCO, Inc.  remains committed to advancing the profession through collaboration, education, and advocacy. We will continue strengthening partnerships with state agencies, expanding training opportunities, and supporting consistent, equitable enforcement of codes across all municipalities and towns across the state. Our focus this year includes improving communication tools for members, increasing access to professional development resources, and promoting best practices to meet the evolving challenges of our field.

I encourage every member to stay engaged, share your expertise, and support your colleagues. Together, we can build a more unified and effective organization—one that reflects the highest standards of public service and continues to elevate the role of code officials statewide.
